Site Wide Maintenance Window

Dear ADrive Users,
In order to bring you exciting new features, such as business group accounts, shared folders, a mobile site, and other upcoming products, ADrive will be in maintenance mode starting at 10PM (GMT -7) on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  During this time, you will see a maintenance page instead of the ADrive homepage. Any data already stored within ADrive will not be affected by this maintenance period. As soon as the upgrade is completed, you will regain access to our site.  We have allotted four hours for the maintenance window, however, we expect to complete the maintenance much sooner.

Some Free Accounts are in Maintenance

Dear ADrive Users,

Some Free Accounts are in Maintenance Mode as of 17:30 Pacific Friday September 10, 2010. Those affected users will not be able to log in for several hours while we perform hardware maintenance on a particluar Free User Storage System (one of the many).

Please note that all Paid Users (Signature, Premium, Enterprise) are online and are not affected by this maintenance.

For those curious minds, we use separate storage system technology for Free and Paid User accounts.

Free Users are stored on low-cost (cheap) custom in-house built open source storage systems. We use RAID-6 protection, but aside from that, there is no backup, no clustering, no off-site mirroring. If a motherboard kicks the bucket, or a backplane goes, your data is going offline until we fix it.

On the other hand, all of our Paid Users (Signature, Premium, Enterprise) are stored on enterprise-class clustered storage systems with RAID, snapshot and off-site geographic mirroring (out of state to a separate datacenter). We have redundancies at every layer of the storage system to keep your data online.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!

Maintenance has been completed. This release corrects browser compatibility issues, improves the layout of the File Manager, adds a new Flash tutorial, extends the public file expiration for free users to 30 days, and improves site functionality. Please visit the forum for more details.

FTP Timestamp Support is Here!

ADrive users asked for timestamp support for FTP and we've delivered! MFMT and MDMT timestamp support for FTP is now available for use with programs like SuperFlexible File Synchronizer, GoodSync and SyncBack Pro. Thanks for your input!
